Saw that Fort Lauderdale and Miami beach are closing. Other beaches should strongly consider doing the same thing. The last thing we need is droves of people from multiple states flocking to the beaches,getting infected, and returning home.

Yea take out only for restaurants is smart. I think grocery stores might limit the amount of people in the stores at one time as well. It’s not a complete shut down but limiting the amount of people in one place will help.

In Spain, where there is a so-called "nationwide lock down," people are still allowed to go to work; to the grocery store; to the pharmacy; to the hospital, etc, etc, Basically you can't go do anything for fun--as I understand it.

Makes sense, right? Should be implemented here nationally. Do it before you have to.

Grocery delivery and/or pickup in some cities is an option as well; here in Athens you can shop online with Publix and Kroger and either have your order delivered or pick it up yourself at the store.
 
One of my friends has to be tested. Works for a large oil company. Was at NO office all week and one of the people their tested positive. The company is shutting down.

I’d have to think it’s one of the safer activities you can do. Of course, staying home is best, but sometimes you have to get out for your own sanity.

I went hiking, as well.
 
Our church service was online today, we watched then went out to eat... yeah some will say we should've stayed home. But here's the thing, we washed our hands, kept our distance and provided income to a local business that may be hurting soon.

But govt will pay for all of this. It’s guaranteed as some say. No one will miss a paycheck.
And if wondering. I hope I eat a crap load of crow that the economy will still be kicking butt and everyone making plenty of money thru this and after this.

There also was a case confirmed from a worker at the North Georgia Premium outlets in Dawsonville. Makes me wonder if the rumors I heard of a UNG staff member or student having it might be true too, as this I had heard about on Friday, but had no confirmation.
