Brian kolfage is saying nationwide shutdown coming in 48hrs. Any truth to this?

I think what was meant- on average 1700 people die per day of any cause in Italy. But, 360 died today specially from COVID-19

I only know one guy with Yankee White. He is a crew chief with HMX-1. My old man had a PRP clearance when he worked with nuclear tomahawks.

Just a rumor (not known if true, take it with a grain of salt) that schools in NC might have the closing until after Easter or possibly end of April. My wife related this to me, so it could be a huge pile of horseshit. Don’t shoot the messenger. Come shoot WITH the messenger. Plenty of ammo and plenty of toys. Even have a .50 I’ll let you shoot.
 
My visual interpretation of this crisis. The coronavirus is the wave. We see it off in the distance approaching. Some people scramble early others sit with a wait and see and then when the reality hits everyone scrambles. This is how I see the last 6 weeks unfolding and how we got here.

I disagree. This is self abasing to save as many people possible. If we wanted, we could leave our elders to die and go about our business and probably 95 to 99% of the rest of us would be fine, but thankfully we care about those who need it most and are willing to take the hit to save them and have the knowledge and ability to do so.

Yeah people like this are the reason for the shortages. They even said they thought they were doing people a service by offering the bottles for sale. So buying all the stock of multiple stores at the cheap prices and then selling them at ridiculous marked up prices is a “community service” to them? Glad they were shut down, it sounds like they’ll have to donate what they have left.

Never been to Elizabeth city. Wouldn’t be a hard time to go there from where I am . Never shot a .50 either .... hmmmm . E City here I come

Never? Well... two years ago me and my old man were out shooting it. Thought we had the berm thick enough with sand. Fired it and went to the sand to recover the slug. Dig into the sand and no slug. Went over the berm and the backside of the berm had been blown out for lack of a better term. Looked past where the berm was and walked into a thicket if trees. Nope. Nothing in the trees and no trees with scarring. About 500 yards past that was an old farm shelter with an old John Deere grain hopper in it. Just for giggles we walked to the old barn. Got to the barn and a slat in the side looked like someone had taken a sledgehammer to it. Big asss hole. Walked inside the barn to the other side and saw the grain hopper. There was a hole in the side of what I think is 1/8” steel. Crawled over the top of the hopper and looked inside. Directly across from the first hole was a second hole the same size as the first. Hopped out and walked over to the other side and looked from the second hole to the wall. Imbedded into a 4X4 post was the slug. Mushroomed, but intact, and imbedded into that 4X4. Now all told, this was close to 1200-1300 yards from the shooting bench. There was no way we though there was that much ballistic energy in that round. We only shoot at the berm when there is zero chance of anyone being back there in the field. Thank goodness no one was back there. We talked to the owner of the shelter and the grain hopper and he told us that the hopper was put out there over 25 years ago because the gear drive was screwed up or something and he told us not to worry about it. He also says no one goes into the shelter or has gone into the shelter in at least the last ten years.

uh oh you don't got any unpaid car payments do you? And yeah, they are damn celebrities out here. Everyone has a story when they repoed their neighbor, cousin, sister etc. They did an episode once where I live where one of my neighbors got repoed!

She, and I dunno what kind of package they had but it was at one of the bigger casinos.....she is gonna be pissed cause I jokingly told her see you next week after they shut Vegas down cause of Corona......:oops:
 
Got word that starting tomorrow we will be working from home for the foreseeable future. I’m gonna get so tired of being in the house all day for the next few weeks.
