Getting one of the best storms I have had all year in regards to thunder and lightning.

If you can believe it, it rained here THREE times yesterday. That last storm had a ton of lightning with it.

3rd storm in 2 days. It's almost like summers of my youth have returned!!
It would be annoying if the issue wasn’t true. There just has to something with the geography of that location to see so many storms either dry up or literally jump it.
Seems like everytime we get MCVs the lapse rates are dogshit

Picked up what seems like another inch from a storm this morning.
Did anyone in union county nc just feel a possible earthquake? My whole house just shook
Anybody feel that earthquake? Seeing many reports ranging from Atlanta to Winston Salem and Raleigh. Definitely felt it here in Spartanburg.
The last paragragh of the RAH afd means they listen to the weenies

Yep, I saw that....... Interesting to say the least. Might be leading up to a bigger event.
I definitely felt it here in Wingate. I had just got out of bed and my windows started rattling. The tremor felt stronger here than the 2011 quake.

Wow at the eartquake we just had. Everyone had to feel that
Made some weird noises rolling through these hills. I wonder if these heavy isolated summer storms and Hot sun is too blame for the ground cracking in areas

We thought someone had set off firework or blowing up tannerities as all we heard was some loud booms but no shaking

Doubt it ,5.1 is about as strong as you can get here and extremely rare ! This was the big event I’d wager .

Yes but not here, this was the strongest quake in 104 years and I think actually is tied for strongest magnitude .
