This is truly a heat wave that will go down in the record books. Sioux Falls, SD tied their all time warmest low temp on record (81). Records go back to the 1800's. Chicago had their first 80 degree dewpoint since 1999.
Looks like our run at 100 degrees actual temp is sputtering. It’s been 20 years since DBQ has hit 100. They were saying in the AFD how hard it is for temps to climb with DP’s in the 80s
The east winds saved me today.
I highly doubt that is accurate. That is 100% humidity.
If NBC news can make a story out of it, it will be true.
I’m not at RF of 150, but this is miserable enough! Hotter than I ever experienced in my 40 years in the South! ??

Felt a little bit like fall today. Too bad it's going to roast again this weekend.
Helped with the move in for my nephews girlfriend at Wake today and it was beautiful.
Lucky. 98.4 with west winds still today.

Already 69 here upper 50s seem doable as long as we don't get debris from that mcs in ohio

Sadly this was the lowest heat indexes in at least 4 days here
Their dewpoint was almost certainly not 93. Low 80s at worst.
This is the “ killer “ part of heatwaves line the one we are currently experiencing here in the Midwest: the lack of cooling at night and the extremely “ high” lows! 3 AM temps:

Spectacular wx outside
Walking out the door this morning at 6am actually felt a little bit refreshing. It was 63 with a dewpoint in the mid 50s. Already starting to feel the humidity rise a bit this morning though.
