Medium, long, and even short range has considerably warmed up, might see some 80s appear again if that ridge flex still trends stronger, GFS/GEFS is the only cooler models and even they are nice and warm 
Warm days and cool nights are my absolute favorite! Unfortunately, warm days aren't great if you're trying to avoid severe weather...

Well, par for the course for 2020. I feel like it's going to be a long and bad severe season this month and into May. We can't get snow in winter, but we can get tornadoes during a pandemic.

Wondering if and when the SE ridge gets strong enough to actually shunt the severe weather away from us, and keeps it more into the plains and midwest? The sooner the better!

South ridge could actually help midsouth to get n better position for severe wx. It’s actually the location where the system will migrate from... plains get going late May going into June. Our severe wx is just now fixing get active. Hold on buckle up

Straight up heavy snow showers here about 30 minutes ago with a temp of 44 degrees. I have never seen it snow that much at that high of temps.

Gfs sets up a bake pattern in the LR, it’s no coincidence this keeps popping up

Looks like any freeze/frost threats after this weekend is over 
Gefs increasing the strength of that ridge, and also looks solid for the plains for the first time this year for severe (if the one before doesn’t impact them much), gefs already has a lee side cyclogenesis setup signal for the plains
