Arctic April

Took this pic a little while ago here in W-S

That actually looks like a rain or possibly a hail shaft, with small-medium sized stones melting before reaching the ground. It also may be remnants (or beginnings of) a shelf cloud that accompanies cool, dry outflow from underneath a thunderstorm
 
So much for the slight risk in NC based off the hrrr tomorrow, it’s truly hard to get storms near CLT and get a simple lightning pic, BL just to mixed out DBDEE36C-E7CE-406F-B841-8FE831C11526.png
