Pattern Ablazing August

Black clouds rolling in near airport. Someones getting ready to get several inches. Tons of moisture to ring out with this one

Almost up to 94 on the warehouse floor. Not a dry spot left on me. Soaked from sweatin balls all day.

RDU 97 high, hottest of the year to date and hotter than just about the rest of the SE US! Many of the typical hottest areas of the SE like AGS and CAE were only in the lower 90s. Also, FAY was 94; GSO was 93, Charlotte was 95.

It was hot at Oak Island as well but the breeze made it manageable. Here are some pics of my little grand daughters and their old poppy is even in one of them.

If you live in Charlotte...you just got your share of lightning strikes...still going. last 3 hours 1350 strikes. Will post total. 1.04 in the bucket so far.

lol. NC is funny , we have 3 radars and 2 of them cover the most unpopulated part of the state while the third covers Raleigh. Meanwhile the most populated parts of the state are blank. That’s that eastern NC political power for you.

Yeah Charlotte definitely needs one.
