@Downeastnc Same here , down here in Surf City (Pea size) hail ,, ACORRDING to the NWS Wilm was to be a dry warm day, pre frontal trough.. Just now..

Strong hail core looked to go right over my place as well. I’m hoping I don’t find a mess when I get home.

Of course all of this is going on the day after my local radar site goes down for Maintenance

Had a decent amount of sun after the first storm with more to my NW. This sun should at least help with keeping them alive

Crazy storm here earlier. Spawned right on top of me and dumped. Mom got a big hail storm in Simpsonville but no hail here.

Monster storm ongoing whiteout conditions hail winds sustained at 40+ for a couple minutes water blowing into the building at work

Just had insane storm, solid 2 min whiteout, wind had to be 50-60, trees down....decent hail core that last 10 mins

Definite hail core with this straggler that barely missed my house to the east, should see some hail reports out of N Raleigh.

The environment where I'm at is tapped out it seems. Everything is falling apart once it gets in range. Crazy day I would say an overperformer based on most of the model guidance.

Yeah saw several 2 inch reports from your area
Nothing too bad. Tree fell on on the fence and truck of a utility a few miles up the road. Besides that, hail definitely put some little dips in my car and small chips in my windshield. The tomatoes had some leaves and branches tore off but will survive.

I really cant complain I have had hail 4 times at the house, twice with severe size, and the micro/downburst with the hail core last Sunday was the most intense 2 mins of weather I have seen in a good many years.....( which is sad really ).....we are fast approaching the pulse severe heat of day storm season, which is as you well know very hit or miss when it comes to severe......if the TC season is slow then this is going to be a boring weather summer following a boring weather winter.....we suck at fun weather now a days, it was so much better 20 yrs ago... I feel like I sound like a old geezer when I say this stuff, but it really does seem that way

Just noticed BMX has confidence up to a three on tornadoes tomorrow across central AL with baseball sized hail. That looks fun and not summer like.
