According to my calendar, it was a Wednesday. I remember being shocked because I didn't get the day off even though there was snow on the grass. I think that's most likely because of the lack of accumulation on the roads.
Ah. I don’t specifically remember this one, probably just rain here. I remember an event that occurred in March during church one time that stuck

anybody can name a few torchy/hot April’s in the past ?
2010 and 2017 come to mind. In 2010 RDU hit 92 on April 6th I think.
Geez that’s impressive, I don’t think this April is that bad but the analogs are warm and trop forcing is headed towards some warm phases, honestly more worried about being dry this April (May sound crazy I know)

The saying was always April showers bring May flowers, but around here, January showers bring February flowers!

By the end of this upcoming week, 70-degree average highs will have made it up to Fayetteville. In 1 month's time average highs will be getting close to 80. Although the pace highs warm up by slows down, so it won't be till mid May it breaks 80.
