Nah , I think some people want colder weather for the ever so slightly higher chance of snow though.I wonder if some actually thinks it’ll still snow, gefs had 0 across most of NC through 384 so I’m thinking it’s over
I’m just saying because hoping for snow at this point is literally useless, especially if we struggled in Jan/feb with temps, especially after March 15th (not saying it’s impossible) but it’s extremely unlikelyNah , I think some people want colder weather for the ever so slightly higher chance of snow though.
1 more of this please ?View attachment 78141
Sir, you are a weenieNo, the first one looked closer to a snow map. I still haven't given up yet.

My AC in my car broke at the beginning of summer last season and I never got around to fixing it. I work nights and my car is parked in my garage so it was manageable but still not fun. Downstairs AC in the house also broke and upstairs went out twice in the middle of the summer. I got 2 portable AC’s for downstairs which actually worked quite nice when the upstairs AC was also working. I was able to fix the upstairs AC but the blower motor and the thing that kickstarts the outside fan had to be replaced. I hate summer as it is but I am really dreading the warm weather that is undoubtedly on its way the next 2 months. Definitely getting a new downstairs AC and probably upstairs but that plus the car is going to cost me a pretty penny. This brings up something my wife and I have debated about. Would you rather live in a house in the south for a month during summer with no central AC? Or would you rather live in say Ohio with no main heater for a month during winter? The rules are you can use portable AC or portable heat just no main or central. I say id rather have no heating in the winter as you can always bundle up or light a fire or use a portable heater. You can’t escape the heat though in the summer and I’d know cause I went a few days without a working AC last summer. The portable was great for our bedroom but even 2 of them didn’t due much when each central AC was down in a two story house.
Another reason I use window unit in my bedroom. Every night during summer I set it on 68I'm going to go with I'd rather loose heat in the Winter. With Kerosene heaters you can stay warm. With no Central Air, a fan can't reduce the humidity.
Sleeping with No AC in the sticky heat is not fun. As much as i love the heat right now, I don't want to be stuck in the swamp at night.
Not everybody can go roam the swamps half naked like naked and afraid and think that it's cool outside.People extremely , like extremely , over exaggerate how hot , long , and humid our summers are! Y’all talk about 95-100 days as if they are the more common days in summer. I mean way some y’all describe summer you would think y’all describing some hot Venezuelan climate or somin. Don’t get me wrong our summers are hot but they aren’t as hot as the numbers y’all throw out lol.
Says the guy that complained about cool days, wedge days, rain days.People extremely , like extremely , over exaggerate how hot , long , and humid our summers are! Pffft , ok weanager! I’m just saying some people describe summer as 6 months long filled with 95-100 degree temps which just ain’t true really!Says the guy that complained about cool days, wedge days, rain days.
It happens in Jonesville, SCPffft , ok weanager! I’m just saying some people describe summer as 6 months long filled with 95-100 degree temps which just ain’t true really!

He's not wrong tbhthe meanerator is back
I’ve stuck to SER and severe and boom 15% and warmer trends, it’s amazing what blocking can do to the southeast ridge lol when it’s in place thoHe's not wrong tbh
not going to see much here other than mainly warm with some backdoor fronts with that SE ridge in place.I’ve stuck to SER and severe and boom 15% and warmer trends, it’s amazing what blocking can do to the southeast ridge lol when it’s in place tho
I’m Thinking it breaks down same time last year it broke down, late March, I feel like models continue to trend warmer until then, because we’re basically relying on the pacific until then which never works out, and there’s a huge TPV north of AK that’s squishing any sort of ridging trying to go up there (Aleutian ridge), feel like blocking makes a return later as you said in early Aprilnot going to see much here other than mainly warm with some backdoor fronts with that SE ridge in place.
The average high in 5/12 months (May - September) at RDU is higher than in any month in Caracas, though.People extremely , like extremely , over exaggerate how hot , long , and humid our summers are! Probably. Wonder if we can get the cutoffs like like last year in May and juneI’m Thinking it breaks down same time last year it broke down, late March, I feel like models continue to trend warmer until then, because we’re basically relying on the pacific until then which mover works out, and there’s a huge TPV north of AK that’s squishing any sort of ridging trying to go up there (Aleutian ridge)
These days we have 60 degree highs in June under massive cutoffs and roast with 100 degree highs in October. Seasons don’t work like they used to.Probably. Wonder if we can get the cutoffs like like last year in May and june
Would be nice to get one stuck in the NE and direct MCV traffic to us, CFSv2 does show something like that thoProbably. Wonder if we can get the cutoffs like like last year in May and june
Give me the cyclonic flow in the summer aloft. I'm still not sold on mid summer fronts being of any benefit other than a cool dayWould be nice to get one stuck in the NE and direct MCV traffic to us, CFSv2 does show something like that tho
