The wellness industry is a multi billion dollar snake oil industry . You got alkaline waters , millions of supplements and “fat burners “ and all sorts of ---- . It’s funny , people can be so gullible !

On the other hand you've got a lot of gullible people believeing in the FDA on everything especially when it takes them 7 years to approve anything.

Oh I love the fat burners. Caffeine and what ever non scientifically proven root extract they think looks cool or sounds exotic enough.

All I'm saying is nothing's perfect... There are some things in the wellness industry that actually do work besides I'm too tired this Monday morning to even think about how to be gullible.

There is one fat burner that used to be used in the 40s. Only issue was it would send your metabolism through the roof , it worked very well, way too well. People were dropping dead like flies, it’s very illegal now but you can probably find it on the deep web somewhere . Forgot what it was called . Everything we have today is total bs.

Almost all of it is not scientifically tested , and the ones that claim to be aren’t .

Yeah but that doesn't mean it's not effective. I would say only 15% of wellness products at the possibility of being effective it's not like I'm saying a lot of it.

Maybe , I honestly have no clue but I doubt it’s a lot of them. A lot of the time they don’t even have to prove what they say they are selling is what they are actually selling !

If there is anything I know a lot about it’s this subject . Don’t test me son I am educated on this . I mean it’s my damn study.... it’s my job...
 
FDA incompetence doesn’t validate the unregulated industry of supplements and wellness . The FDA isn’t perfect, but it’s certainly better than buying untested products with no clue about if they actually work at all.
 
If May 2021 ended today in DFW, it would tie for the 14th coldest on record (with an average of 70.5*F). And given the current forecast, there is a reasonable possibility it can still end up a top 20 coldest when it's over.
 
I'm, not the happiest person right now but I think I am resolved with what's happening. My first surgeon was confident I can get the surgery now, however, he is retiring so he referred me to a surgeon who worked with him for 15 years. When I spoke with his office they seemed confident they could get me in for next week, today I met the guy and I don't know if he misunderstood me as having been on prednisone for 3 years but he decided to hold off until mid-July. I quit. I've gone through too much for someone my age. Springs gone, I missed that season now summer. This just complicates things a whole lot and is dangerously close to the start of school.
 
My hair has been sticky today like it has been during summer like weather despite it not being humid today. And yes, I washed it last night. Didn't help.

Yep, and you live in the Sandhills region essentially, dry the grass up get some wind blowing ! Bermuda grass tumble weed! Boom you got a desert . Time for some xeric landscaping ! Rocks and cacti!
