Misc 2021-22 Fall/Winter Whamby Thread

I can get down with this NAM run. Nothing for Raleigh and 4” here ?
Edit: Dang it they get a quick 3” too… darn
It's actually still snowing at the end of that NAM run

Maybe things are changing. We went through some tough years in the 90s. Global pattern seems to always switch for the better (..eventually).
Yeah, the mid 2000s were pretty bad, too, sandwiched between some good periods (2000-2004 and 2009-2015).
 
Happy Hour NAM’ing. Of course, given expected trends NW, congrats Columbus, OH, while we rain, so no need to get too excited.

Everything is way too fast to trend NW. In fact, GA actually needs something to block this trough a bit and there is just nothing modeled to do it. The northern stream is just to fast and too strong. Central NC is golden. Eastern NC is probably going to get in on the snow, too. Everyone else, not so much.
