Misc 2021-22 Fall/Winter Whamby Thread

Isn't that illegal in North Carolina?

Sincerely,
Dewpoint Dan
Well not really , if it’s under a certain amount it’s considered recreational and the cops confiscate it then the state sends you a bill for the weed in the mail. They literally tax you on it lol. My friend works for the Franklin county sheriffs and he works with a canine and does drug stops mainly .

Legislaters will never ban something they can tax to death.

Fortunate to be old enough to remember snow in the 5 day forecast and it actually snowed.

We NEED Brick to remind us, yet again, that things "don't work like they use to"
To be fair he also says “it always snows after temps in the 70’s” and we had a lot of 70’s in December. So he practically predicted this one. Just not for Raleigh ?

Also , in NC thanks to a loophole you can get legal THC . Just the delta 8 strain , which doesn’t hit as hard but it will still do it to ya lol.

Re-reading the storm thread when it was created clearly shows how weenism had taken over by mid-week and our gut instincts were right all along.

This gem from Monday confirms it:

When are we going to stop falling for this a week in advance? Our common sense gets clouded with the snow maps I guess. The answer was right there all along. :)

On the leading edge stuff? I am, we have seen the models too slow with onset before
It looks like we have about 6ish hours of frozen before the changeover. Would be nice to stop seeing the low tracking up the Apps at some point.

This is a rhetorical question isn't it?

I did one, didnt do anything, so next night did 2. Still didnt do anything. So I popped 3 the following night and my head was spinning and Im slapping my chest like Tarzan so my heart wouldnt stop. Blunts dont do me like that. Do enough of that delta8 and it will do it to ya.

3k will have it in Lexington Kentucky by 12z tomorrow but everyone will discount it with the catchy “it’s now cast time.” phrase.

Look at the January thread. The image with the low halfway to Bermuda and the high in the Plains at like 168 hours out looks really good. Money!

Congrats Mackerel_Sky

Yea I hope they get a lot cause I know they're due. (well...except for you know who in Anderson lol)

I've had my expectations in check since things went south on Wednesday. I just don't get too worked up about things ending in rain anymore. Been there, done that.
Don’t worry I’m still calling for a cold rain here. Probably snow in the county below me though.

Thanks Stephen. I've reached out to my contacts at GSP to pass along your updated forecast of just cold rain. They'll be cancelling the warning for Anderson County shortly. Thank you for letting us know about the mistake, and they apologize for any confusion in their forecasting.
