Misc 2021-22 Fall/Winter Whamby Thread

It’s just a hint that we could see a similar favorable pattern lol, I wouldn’t get caught in a specific storm, it’s not gonna happen exactly like that again
March delivered that year though. Like I said I see us3D4B60BC-BF3E-411E-80DF-A0B79F7D9315.png having a chance as something good in March

They are letting schools out at 1 pm tomorrow across most of the state! They don’t want the busses blowing over???, and the winds are supposed to get worse afternoon

Still can’t get pics off of FB , but here’s one of our local wether forecaster nerds! View attachment 97935

Breaking an all time December high is big news anywhere it would seem. It says this is Iowa? We’ve seen a lot of weather extremes or I should say records broken these last two to three years.

I feel like every part of the country has gotten historic, unprecendented weather except the SE this year. It's so wierd.
Probably due to the grand solar minimum we are entering. We are fortunately going to be sheltered from the worst of it in the southeast. Maybe we can eek out a little snow storm or two before it's all over?

During the little ice age the se was actually a tad warmer . It was like a 200 year long La Niña. Of course that meant it was also drier and more prone to extreme cold snaps .
