Misc 2021-22 Fall/Winter Whamby Thread

U know this winter is bad when even myself in Roanoke has seen zero winter percip. By this point last year there had been two light snow events here.
 
Well is the 12z cold or warm? The warm weenies say torch, normal people saying cool???

I’m also gonna add GLAAM/GWO (1958-present) to that teleconnection sheet on later this evening (I am also trying to throw in SCAND but am having some issues getting the data to come through). Will let you know when I got it!

Sorry for my behavior not sure why I was being so mean and rude to Mets and others took a little spell
 
I'm liking the increasing spreads on the modeling solutions. Variability means we can't really see more than 48 hours ahead with any certainty. It means a winter storm could show up within 72 hours and surprise us all! That's what makes weather fun during the winter. It sure beats hot, humid and a 30% chance of afternoon thunderstorms for 8 months straight.
