Super fantasy land but it looks like the EPS really likes one of the next African waves a bunch of threatening members but this is 2 weeks out(though that does fit the timeframe people have been talking about)

Interesting little spin on radar off the NC coast this morning, probably wont amount to anything but there have been a handful of times something popped up out of similar little twist....
I was just going to post something about this....always have to watch when something flares off of the coast. Models are showing weak low pressure developing in the same vicinity. Probably nothing more than this, but interesting.

30% odds over eastern NC moving out to sea. Like I said, for now, fish pattern. Looks to change in few weeks tho

The GFS is beyond god awful against its horribly low standards even just 5-7 days out, anytime a Kelvin or MJO wave approaches Central & South America.

Or the rare Savannah’s Georgia landfall, although a landfall there would probably just ride the coast instead of going too far inland .

I would say the real season is beginning now. Seems like August 15 to October 15 is when most activity takes place.
