Poop I keep pooping up and bantering in the pooping main thread. It’s hard to know when to get into pooping winter mode. Especially when models are still showing rain.

At least I got snow in Maggie Valley last weekend. I won’t get blanked this year.
Lots of disappointment over a model that everyone trashes 80% of the time. Let's wait until the 0z runs before we panic
You must not have lived here long then. This is nothing. Wait until we have every model on our side 72 hrs out and it goes poof. Now thats failure. And the CAE snow hole of the winter of 17-18 scars me to this day. Now thats failure on a whole different level.

I survived that so I can survive any disappointment winter can throw at me. But that is the root cause of my complaining right there. It's going to take many above average snowfall years in the upstate to get over that.

Exactly. That's how weather works. They are supposed to get more snow. Funny how nobody ever gets upset when Ohio or Indiana gets snow. What is it about the MA and NE getting snow that people hate so much ?

Because they constantly whine about how it doesn't snow there and how their winters suck. They average 20+ inches a year which is right at the US average and it's not good enough. I do more than my share of complaining because year after year I'm below average on an already pitiful single digit average. Just give me average and I'd shut up. Not them though. If they don't get 40 inches in a year it sucks.
