As a healthcare worker PLEASE stay home then! Hopefully you feel better soon!

Well I did have a sinus infection Like a month ago, it went away then it came back 2 weeks ago and then went away, and now I’m pretty sure it’s coming back because my sinuses are stuffed and my ears, also hear poping sounds up in my nose, around this time of the year every single year I get chronic sinusitis, and I haven’t really been in contact with people the last 2 weeks (yes I’m anti-social at times)

It's really a fine line. We want to site to have good quality information but we don't want to alienate those who are more casual and are here to read about an event and maybe pop in a question. Way back when we started this thing the one thing I didn't want this to become is the other sites where you are frowned upon for not knowing as much as the rest. Now that we are almost 1800 members with 400-500 daily visitors and up to near 1000 during events it's a little more difficult but we will figure something out so that everyone can get the information they want but also be able to ask their question
Maybe it would also help if mods/admins would be the one's to tell other's they are asking too much or address it instead of other members. I'm sure at times it can feel as though people are piling on.

I’m afraid it’s not possible we see snow in the setup for wave #2. It seems as if all setups with cold are too dry, and all setups with moisture are too warm.

I really don’t want to be a Debby downer. Give me one model with snow, and I’ll hug it until the cows come home. However, based on everything I’ve seen, it seems out of reach. Can things change? Of course, but I’m frustrated.

Either way this turns out, it will be a great learning experience. Either go with the pattern, or trust the model outputs first.

I wonder if the lack of storms to track the last couple years is a reflection of better models? This isn't the greatest pattern but surely not the worst and we can't even get one bite.

I believe it’s Tennessee‘s turn to get a December dumping this winter. Wasn’t it Georgia or Al that got huge snows 2 years ago? North Carolina also got one recently I believe. I have lived here since 2006 and have never had a huge snow in December. 2010 I got about an inch and a half or two in mid December and then another 2 inches on Christmas Eve and day that same year. Other then a dusting every few years in that’s been it for December. January, February and a number of marches have given me 4 plus inch snows over the years. The odds are definitely in the Nashville area’s favor to get a big December snow soon.

have not seen a December snow since I moved here 6 years ago

2017 went southeast of us which was up there for worst storms ever imo :p

Honestly I don't expect crap from the first wave or even the second wave, I'm just optimistic that a real threat will pop up soon.

Imo I’m 20-30% optimistic that we can squeeze out some snowflakes (non accumulating) with wave one but wave 2 not so much, look at this point I just want to see snow fall
