Yep, in fact, the spring green-up map has us BEHIND normal. so boom! leaf-out isn't done till early April, though the first signs of spring will show in February generally no matter what these weenies say.
You decided to lecture me today bc I said that early spring warm ups concern me and my ag interests. So I'm being mean the rest of the day

Yes the models have backed off on any substantial warmth. Again I'm concerned about a big cold shot late this year. It just kind of sucks that JB agrees now

Don't models shove the cold out of NA like Dec? Stratospheric displacement or not, it's not a guarantee of insane cold. Could easily still torch, plus not sure if the impacts of PV displacement are quite as intense as they would be in winter.

I'm admittedly a lame person but...
I have 0 interest in ever going to Myrtle Beach, and never have had any interest in going there.
Been a long time but I've been to Harbor/Fripp/Edisto Island (my grandparents used to own a house on Harbor Island, they sold it though while me and my cousin were still very young, but we still went there a couple times after that). Oh, and Hilton Head. That experience wasn't very enjoyable either but I enjoyed going to the other places.
Been a while since I've been to the beach actually, maybe I should go to Fernandina Beach this summer...idk. It's something that we've thought about at times. I think the last time I've been to any beach was probably in 2016 actually.
