I mean this is what I was getting at about the early warm up and ag impacts.
Boooooo , the average is 60 bro . 10 degrees above average = 70. 40s are more anomalous now than 70s. Not early warm up! I don’t see one do you? Look at the 10 day doesn’t look anything like a warm up. Looks cooler than average in fact!

Lol exactly but no your a terrible person if you want a lil sum over 60, move to Florida if you want a little spring I guess even if the AVERAGE IS 60

Exactly , it ain’t us who needs to move lol ! If you still want snow and colder averages I suggest Boston perhaps , they average like low to mid 40s this time of year ? Maybe further north ? Caribou Maine probably still averages highs around 30.

77 was high at RDU, if clouds broke only 30 minutes earlier perhaps Raleigh would have made a run at 80. Laurinburg nc was at 85, 83 Fayetteville , 82 at the Harnett county airport ,Wilson hit 79 so imma guess zebulon was 77-79 range as well . Wonder if any station hit 86 in the state !

Tbh it’s stupid to fault anyone for liking the weather they do lol. Not like they control it , if they did then you can fault them .

Only thing in all this that’s true is some people have unrealistic expectations , and act surprised about perfectly normal , or above average temps that are within the average monthly range . If we aren’t in the 30s all winter you know why? Cuz climo bro ! When it’s 60 second half of feb you know why? Cuz it’s seasonably above average temps , average by the end !

And with the severe weather thing, enjoying/finding it interesting is one thing, but some people have zero regard for the negative effects.

I’d argue more people on here have zero regard to the negative effects of cold snow weather ! It impacts my families income for one ! Death! Look at texas , what is it now 100+ dead? I think people are aware of the negative effects but same as snow weenies the awe and love of it trumps it all.

There’s also the other side. Why should one care about those effects? It’s not their job to be sad. This is cynical, but when a bad tornado hits, any bad weather, if the person isn’t affected, it’s just “oh man that’s too bad” and onto the next. Can’t linger

I don't know why people think they can police people's emotions. Like there's anything anyone can do to change someone that likes severe storms. Any rational person knows that someone doesn't wish devastation.

I agree, also some people can profit from the negative effects so it’s a double edge sword. Sunny and dry every day would put a lot of people out of work. Roofers, landscapers, Plumbers, etc need severe weather to make money. Nobody wants to see people die. Severe weather is big business these days.

That’s very true. It gets easily mistaken for wishing devastation if someone is seen to be “wishcasting” for more severe. There’s also like what I alluded to earlier, it’s cool until it’s bearing down on you.
