I like how at the moment we finally get seriously cold air, our -NAO that we've had all season goes poof. Its moments like this I realize Mother Nature is a surely a old women. Fickle and unloving.

It's retrograding across Canada. I wouldn't get too excited about it being gone. We probably try another round of it the last week of the month
 
Just noticed all the ensembles want to retrograde another -NAO in late Feb lol, in more usual fashion vs a wavebreak, lower heights around SE Canada = tons of CAD the next few weeks

Yeah, I know we all have our own frustrations with seeing wishes from others that would hurt chances where we live. Just venting here.
 
It’s freaking Negative 7 degrees right now I knew I should have stayed my black ass in Alabama it don’t make no sense to be out here trying to work and go shopping in temperatures like this I can’t even wash my freaking car or take it to the car wash without the water turning into ice in a matter of seconds not to mention with all this gear that you have to wear to protect yourself from frost bite the wind feels like someone is taking a freaking knife and stabbing you in the freaking face

I can’t buy anything up here in Durham, either. I think I might’ve gotten less than you in our last “storm”. You need to move clear to Roxboro to have any effect.

Hopefully Brent gets something and the Dallas snow drought ends. Over here we are in for a miserable stretch of cold rain, and our sub-20°F low drought is likely going to continue.
