6in is rare so it makes sense. We do live in a warm region so it takes everything to line up just to get snow in the first place.
Who wants some cold rain and that snowflake we think we saw but really didn’t ?

I remember weird things. I just remember his birthday being the first week of February in 1983. I have no idea how I remember.

Why do you even care whether there's a thread? We'd just be posting about this in the December thread if we didn't have an event thread. Doesn't matter where it gets posted
I think you bring up a valid point, and I do think that this thread was created in "different" circumstances. However, I don't know if we got a single thread-worthy model to have snow from the time this thread was created to the time it ended. Maybe the fact that we have a thread is the reason we're talking about it?
I mean even if that's the case, why does it matter? We can talk about what we want.
Post away. Just never saw threads started much with so little support in the past. Just don't want to see everyone get so disappointed when nothing happens. I mean we haven't even had a single fantasy run. A couple EPS members with flurries and 1 GEFS member doesn't exactly scream potential even for that. Those storms in 2017 and 2018 had something this one doesn't, cold air.
I post/track for fun and out of boredom because I love tracking stuff whether it’s a fail or not , and plus while I would want more snow, I’m happy with the flizzard a few nights ago
I just don't get why anybody cares about the location of the posts. Its just ridiculously pedantic to me
Trust me guys I want snow just as much as anyone on this board. I just can't bite on an event with 0 model support. But its can be a nice learning experience for what needs to happen in order for it to work.
You're right it doesn't matter, but I think Grump's point was, why is there a storm thread for something that had a low probability of producing something?
