Should I go indoors?
GFS shows intense thunderstorms over the foothills of nc but takes them to the DC area and not east to Raleigh. Kinda like climo winter storms. Who knows. Just wouldn’t be surprised to see a big dog pop up

@Ollie Williams I asked Chris Justus about that 3/1-2/2009 storm, he confirmed thundersnow and a quick hitting heavy wet snow.

I knew before the Tweet even loaded that this was going to be from BAM. Don't worry in the morning they're going to cancel winter.

According to Wikipedia, Spartanburg only averages 1" more in Jan than in Dec. Dec and Feb both avg the same.
