I just can’t imagine it. What’s your story?
I can tell you my story. I was a freshman in high school in 93. I remember Glenn Burns talking about it. My cousin was staying with me and my grandma. That week was crazy. We had thunderstorms that you get in the Summer the beginning of the week (Monday) or a few days prior. By Friday, my cousin and I were watching Glenn Burns talking about the snow and we both said that we going to school next Monday. We just knew nothing was going to happen. So, after about 1am, we went to sleep. I woke up maybe ar 5am and looked out of my window and didn't see anything. So, I knew it was a fluke. I went back to sleep and a few hours later, I woke up and saw the snow (it was daylight) and said Holy ----! (sorry moderators). My cousin and I ate breakfast and headed out the side door. It was bitterly cold for Atlanta standards. The wind was blowing pretty good and you couldn't see 2 feet in front of you. I couldn't see the houses down the street. I had just had my hair done and wasn't about to ruin my hairdo. My hood wasn't what you would wear in snow. Anyway, I'm 5'0 and that snow came up to just above my knees. We walked to the the bus stop (top of the hill) and we couldn't tell if we were in the street or on the hill where we caught the school bus. It was so much snow. We had a ball. Never forget that storm. Sorry for the long post.

We lived in Druid Hills at that time, I remember walking the street with my dad and brothers with snow to our kneecaps. That was the 1st snow storm I saw lighting an heard thunder. Snow drifts had to be 1-3 ft in areas. My dad recorded it and I need to find that video. I just wish I was older at the time.
Yes! First time I experienced thundersnow too.

Great story and don't apologize, I mean have you read the rest of this forum? ?

I smell a Fail coming on...
Indeed, unfortunately I'm starting to allow myself to get sucked in. Must.......resist....

I feel like a best case scenario with this (albeit an unlikely one) is a few hours of Snow TV and maybe a sloppy coating, which doesn't excite me much. I need a street sticker.

I can’t get rid of this damn semi-permanent wintertime sinus infection, I had it last week, it’s going away now it’s coming back, my sinuses are making squealing sounds

If we get the moisture it’s gonna bring clouds and warmth. If we get cold from radiation cooling it’s gonna be too dry. So we need just a few showers to form exactly at 6am till 9am. We can do this.
Why do we bother?

I need updates about wilkes
Monitoring for thunderstorms this Friday night means huge snow threat within 7ish days. Better hope you get thunder and intense lightning.
