According to Wikipedia, Spartanburg only averages 1" more in Jan than in Dec. Dec and Feb both avg the same.

I just want my 2in every year. Yea that’s right!

Around here January is our snowiest month climatologically, though February isn't that far behind. December is the third snowiest month and only has a slightly higher average than March. I've seen substantial snowfall in Feb much more than Dec over the years

I got a mega frost this morning and 34 flurries a few days ago. I guess I can’t complain.

Atlanta has not had a single snow more than 4" in Feb since 1928. Out of the top 8 biggest snows in Atlanta, they all occurred in January or March.

Honestly they are all about the same when you avg it out. When you only avg 2" or less the whole winter it's not like one month is going to avg a ton more than another month.

I went back last year and added up all the snow I’ve had since 2009-2019- it avg 2in. Crazy

Yea Atlanta really isn’t in a snow drought, we are over due for a ice storm but snow is on par.
