Exactly. I didn't mean to offend anyone. Sometimes I'm just too blunt and don't choose my wording carefully a lot of times. LolYou're right it doesn't matter, but I think Grump's point was, why is there a storm thread for something that had a low probability of producing something?
This was a long long shot in the beginning. 75% of the winter threads fail so it’s normal.Exactly. I didn't mean to offend anyone. Sometimes I'm just too blunt and don't choose my wording carefully a lot of times. Lol

Solid. Need 1800 moreFun fact we just hit 1,800 members!
True! Even with model support. I remember having a 6 inch mean with like 35 members having snow on the EPS last year around 5-7 days out and the wheels fell off and I got nada. So naturally I'm not exited about 1 member showing flurries 4 days out. LolThis was a long long shot in the beginning. 75% of the winter threads fail so it’s normal.

FixedYea nothing is set in stone unless your grass is already white.
I've said this before but I really have no problem with threads for periods that look decently interesting most of our threats turn into rain anyway. Like you said they are good learning experiences and really reduce the clutter from the main monthly thread. For this situation in particular I don't think the expectation was ever for a board wide footer but more that the incoming northern stream energy and potential phase could give someone a little somethingTrue! MoveI'm snow starved! I moved to CAE, well Irmo just NW of it in August of 2013. Got 2 snows the winter of 13-14. About 3 inches in Jan and about 4 in Feb. Though hey this place won't be so bad. Boy was I wrong. Nothing else from then on. Move back to a place that actually has a chance in May 2018 and got 6 inches Dec 2018. Thought yes sir let's go! Now here I sit with nothing since! So cut me some slack guys! I've seen one accumulating snow in 7 years!
Good grief. The folks in the western Boston burbs must be going nuts.Build the snowpack! ?

I did! A 10k a year raise and 3 extra weeks off a year got me out of CAE! And getting snow holed like that in the winter of 17-18 helped my decision. I'm actually in a good spot to get a good snow each year here. Not sure what the hell has happened since Dec 2018! Hopefully this year changes that.Move
