Misc 2019 Banter & Friendly Conservation

The weather sucks, the people suck, the taxes suck, it stinks, parts of San Francisco are ok, but only parts. It mostly sucks.

Was in San Francisco in July just avoid the part of town where the homeless live and do everything lol

The weather in July was freaking amazing though

I know CA has its problems, such as traffic, drugs, smog, etc and its very expensive, but CA really has a lot to offer. Its the most populated state for a reason.
Yeah sanctuary cities have a funny affect that way

Had a cousin who moved out to Phoenix from March to December, and he agrees, there is no place hotter when it comes to high temps mixed with high humidity than Columbia.

I endured that place for 6 years and the summers are just putrid. I don't think people who are from there understand that their summers are the worst in the United States. Augusta is just as awful. Winters can be really nice though if you like 60s.

It has beautiful geography and wine country is nice too, but the state is being ruined by political ideology, high taxes, lack of sufficient water supply. Now they want to try universal healthcare for everyone regardless of citizenship or not, allegedly. Universal healthcare and heavy socialistic policies will only work in higher IQ productive societies, Denmark, Sweden, etc.

I'll get up the mood to do from 1990 eventually, but the average low for Augusta, based off history in January, is *just* 37-39. The average for 2010-2018 is 33, rounding up.

Although you know what, I'm not sure the 37-39 is correct based off what I'm looking at. Multiple sources say that, but based off what I'm looking at, I think 32-34 is probably more correct than that. The ultimate story with averages though are they are just that, an average. It can really bounce around from there.

This pattern sucks! I thought everyone said it would be great for snow the rest of winter! Where's my snow?! I want it now!

I wish the internet around the world would crash so we couldn’t see one model run for the next three days

Just have to wake up Tuesday and see what happens

I actually thought about going back to what I used to do and just read the RAH forecast discussion each day and come to the board only if they mention snow in the discussion.

You already had snow. It's our turn to play over here. :)

I know. It would be somethjng if that is the only storm we get here all winter, and it happened December 5. But like I said before, if we get a big storm like that it is usually the only big storm we get for winter, and most of the time we don't get anymore snow at all after we had a big one. Not sure why it is like that, but that is just how it is here.

Nice to see the traffic really increasing here. Need to get the folks like Poimon and WeatherNC from the other board to post here more.

I feel like if people are punting the rest of winter because they’ve already had a big snowstorm, they shouldn’t come back on here until April.
