I don’t mean to be a Donnie downer but that ship has sailed. More chances closing the month and entering February though. Long ways to go
Yep, looking like a NC storm only. Sounds familiar??

I just hope we are not wasting precious time. We (the deep south) have realistically about 5 weeks left to cash in. Every week we lose brings us one week closer to the end. I sound depressing don't I ?If the Deep South gets a storm the SEC will show up. Really nothing to post about right now.

Toss!My forecast for Saturday:
Saturday
Snow. High near 31. Chance of precipitation is 80%
I have come close to hitting a few cyclists who were in the road at night.Everyone isn’t going to like this but I believe leisure cyclists should not be allowed to ride on busy (most) roads. It’s dangerous for everyone. Peddling 12mph down a busy 55mph two lane is not ok. Change my mind..
And trying to pass 5 people riding the white line at a crawl is ridiculousI have come close to hitting a few cyclists who were in the road at night.
That’s normal for people in northern Ohio.My forecast for Saturday:

Lol, i'm closer to Southern Ohio. I'm like 60 miles from Cinci. That’s normal for people in northern Ohio.![]()

It's been a very mild winter here. Almost no snow. I have to remind myself I'm not in GA, because it looks and feels like GA right now.Busted!!LOL. That’s consider cheating... lol

I don’t get it either. I am all for sharing road but if you are riding your bike on busy roads your just asking to get hit. This day and age with people having one eye on their phone and the other on the radio. I know it ain’t right but it’s the world we live in.

I get what you are saying and I'm not a cyclist but I have several good friends who are but I am a runner and I've had a few close calls. The laws protect cyclist however and most (not all) but most serious cyclist imo are safer than those on scooters/mopeds. I have mixed feelings about it honestly
I will say however, it not exactly fair to punish or blame the cyclist for the irresponsibility of driver who text and drive. I get what you are saying and I've been running, see a car drifting my way and the driver never saw me because they were on their phone. But they are in the wrong and personally I think something should be done about that, texting and driving is deadly

After all the nice things I've said about you?
Sam was right in this case. I am Sam. Sam I am. Now I'm going to go cry some. After all the nice things I've said about you?

Haha it was a convoluted way of saying I agree with your post via a Lord of the Rings meme..![]()

Well, we have to look after our own lives, and to ride a bicycle down a roadway with automobiles weighing in at 2000 plus pounds is inherently dangerous. I refuse to do it, why?, because I like living, and no law will make me feel any safer doing it.
This! What I was trying to say.
You might want to be careful. You could make the wrong person mad at you.I guess I have a fan.
That's fair.... but walking on the sidewalk, heck driving your own vehicle for that matter is inherently dangerous then with all the DWI drivers, texters, distracted drivers etc out there. It's almost like letting terrorist control how we live (that's a stretch I know) my point is can't live in a bubble.Well, we have to look after our own lives, and to ride a bicycle down a roadway with automobiles weighing in at 2000 plus pounds is inherently dangerous. Anyway I think we may be talking about 2 different types of cyclist here, to me there are those who ride reckless, wrong side of street, busy highway with no regard for the vehicles around them and then there are the serious cyclist who actually obey all traffic laws while cycling. Or you could just despise all of them Lol...
I know what you meant but the 5 yr old side of me got a chuckle.... LolI ride but mine has a motor between my legs. And it’s dangerous as well even on the street.
