Lets face it. Its a lot more enjoyable to be outside on days like today than it is when it is cold. I think I speak for 98% of people. There are a few oddballs on here who would probably prefer 20 degrees with a wind chill below 0.

I like a good week long arctic outbreak at least once a winter, then If its going to be cold it better come with some snow

Me too. I enjoy warm and sunny. I even enjoy the heat. But I enjoy each during their own time. I like to experience each season.

I am not too fond of extreme heat or extreme cold, but I do try to enjoy each season also. I do hate it when it is cloudy for an extended period of time. I love my sunshine, although there are times in summer where i dont mind it being cloudy to cool things off.

I could not live in a place where it stayed below freezing for months. I enjoy a break in the cold in winter, just like I enjoy a break in the warmth in the summer.

But, the Gov. shut down is affecting airports. Some airports has had an increase of TSA call outs. The lack of TSA screeners at airports mean a higher risk of vulnerability.

Dont worry once they reopen the government you won’t here nothing about politics for another 1 1/2 years then we will have to talk about elections again.

Well, I thought there was a political thread for a reason. If you want to discuss politics then it would be a good place to go. I like posting here, but politics can easily piss people off, including me. If you want to be pissed off, then by all means go to the political thread. I just think it would be better to keep it separated from the banter thread, and keep it lighthearted in here.
