Upper level low, which is a cold pocket in the upper atmosphere with counterclockwise spin that often results in precip. Because they are cold up above, they have a better chance to produce snow in winter. Often these
aren't co-located with lows near the surface.

That's what banter thread is for, no? Doesn't have to be constructive, but we will see how much snow Memphis is shoveling out of in 4 days! And whatever, 4days, 5 days, 12 days, 12 hours, the models are doing a great job!

We have some pretty smart children who like to misbehave. They just unlock the gate and start running away. Fortunately, we can get them before they pull the fire alarm. :confused: If only they would learn...

I did. I knew better. I had 10 days where I didn't get out of the 30's and now on the 11th day the weather gods decide bless me with precipitation. I just don't understand it :(
 
Amazing huge shield of moderate rain over Atlanta now, amazing how brutal cold it was even yesterday and now in the mid 30s,,,SMDH,,,This should be snow...Don't we love WAA.............

Yeah it's ridiculous how that works. I would be quite mad if we didn't already have snow last month that's for sure!

Dont worry. Theres more cold air headed south this weekend.
 
Im back in Indiana and im done with winter. Its amazing how dirty your car can get when you drive up north. I just want warmth and sunshine. Bring on baseball season !!!!!
 
Hahahahaha even if I knew my parents were okay with me just traveling around the only family member I have in a cold area is in Colorado. I have talked a little about visiting but it's never happened and I would fly if I did. While my mom's family is huge, they have all never moved away from Georgia. If they're not near Atlanta, they're all around the same small town, LaFayette, GA. Not all of them live in that town, but in numerous small towns around it.

Plus I'm taking classes anyway (really just "a class").

I wasn’t too impressed with Georgia’s defense against Oklahoma. Come to think of it, I wasn’t impressed with Oklahoma’s either. Lol. I don’t have a dog in this fight - HUGE LSU fan- so you can imagine what it is costing me now to say ROLL TIDE!

South Carolina loses either, way, regardless of who wins when it comes to recruiting. I would think Georgia would affect us more though.
 
Don't think GA has a chance! They've got as good of a chance at winning this game, as I have getting accumulating snow! So sorry GA, Roll tide
