Thanks! I'd love for you to post the 6z when they come out in a bit. Most of us don't have access to weathermodels.com. This is such an interesting system regardless if it produces or not.

Gfs and fv3 hold serve. Great to see the eps with another shift west.

This is potentially significant... the 6z NAVGEM shifted NW quite a bit. It also typically has a suppression bias.
Still nobody is concerned about temps?
Yea toggling between the 00z run and 6z navgem it’s much stronger w the lp and really trying to hug the coast. Wow.

We have to get precip inland before worrying about them haha but they shouldn’t be an issue if we got steady precip overhead.
Only a few hundred mile shift since the previous run, no biggie

^ We could roll with that 987 south of Cape Lookout. Like some of y’all have said, another 100 miles or so over 2 days should be doable. We often find ourselves praying for that not to happen.

That’s just so close to a big storm for even central NC. I’m surprised the surface isn’t catching up as much to trends we’re seeing

Surprised the surface didn’t respond better. I thought at 45 there was a negative tilt.
Agreed, hopefully that's NAM flaw bc H5 argues otherwise
