The main deal looks to be to our North today. Old HRRR runs had a different evolution and had us in a better spot. Lapse rates were quite nice in the low levels, though. Nice little area in the upstate showing up, too. Maybe Rockhill got the brunt of what we could have hoped for earlier, we'll see, but not looking good down here.

Under partly sunny sky's my temp is now down to 36.1, started the morning around 38-39, wind does go up a notice when the sun is out and also when the low level cumulus moves overhead, semi legit cold front.

Walterboro getting flurries while a lot of the Charlotte area not was weird earlier. It was a small line, but it petered out before reaching the populated areas of West Ashley and downtown Charleston.
I found my reindeer! He was blown 150 yards down the hill into the wood line. I got a ring camera for Christmas but DAMN I wish I had thing set up yesterday. That wind snapped all 4 tie downs and carried a 8 lb blower with the reindeer down the hill ?
Not looking good here. Oh, well.

I can see a decent amount of virga with nearly overcast skies just to my SE. Wouldn't be surprised if the Brier Creek or RDU area is seeing some flurries reach the ground
