So you have a 30% chance of mixed precip while up in Sandy Springs only a 20% chance. Interesting.

Santa will feel right at homeCurrent point and click forecast for 12AM 12/25 is 23 degrees with a wind chill of 12 and scattered flurries. Going to be awesome Christmas weather ?
it’s still going. Lolfwiw the HRRR has the flizzard still going into Christmas morning and not just in North Georgia.View attachment 59691
Watching spectrum news and they are saying "sorry kids no snow for Charlotte". While it may be true, after looking at these short range models such as rap and hrrr I think there's a possibility of flakesYoooo this stuff is all Convective View attachment 59695View attachment 59696
Those look like summer time thunderstorms hahaYoooo this stuff is all Convective View attachment 59695View attachment 59696

If the HRRR ends up right someone may end up with a surprise. With the temperatures in place being in the mid 20s to low 30s if you get anymore then a few flurries for a prolonged period of time your gonna get a least a dusting if not a little more.Yoooo this stuff is all Convective View attachment 59695View attachment 59696

Given the cold air aloft/at the sfc, kuchera in this sort of setup is ideal, and definitely more appealing to the eye ?Year, some of the cells put down an inch or two.

Looks like the kind of hit or miss showers you see in summer. Maybe some areas will get a few inches while others nearby wont see a flake ?Given the cold air aloft/at the sfc, kuchera in this sort of setup is ideal, and definitely more appealing to the eye ?View attachment 59704
Hopefully this holds, I have my doubts tho, there’s things that can go wrong, could be some virga issues with this with low levels to dry
Let's just say. It would be "The Christmas miracle"It honestly looks like the HRRR is just ramping up the squally weather at the end of its run ... tonight’s 00z HRRR will be very interesting ... if these short range models are picking up on this I could see someone seeing some surprise Christmas snow that actually could designate them having a WHITE CHRISTMAS ... this would be the ultimate surprise set up for many people
