Severe 2025 Severe Thread

Yeah, that severe storm is going to slide to my southeast, but based on the radar look with those storms not dying, my rain/thunderstorm chances are more than like 20% lol (probably at least 50%).

DFW may have a problem soonView attachment 172830

That's what I'm thinking if it doesn't fall apart as I watch Ryan Hall's stream.

PDS tornado/severe thunderstorm warning continues for this entire storm and apparently there's been a lot of damage reported in Gordon, TX from the tornado.

Edit: Yeah, the SPC discussion basically says "tornadic supercell threat" continues.

Edit2: Not wanting to triple post, so I'll drop this off here, observed about 20 mins ago or so with the supercell:

PDS warning approaching Southwestern DFW

Luckily seems as if the tornado threat may be not quite as bad now (still probably PDS severe warning), but I did some searching, and this storm did have (and maybe still, who knows) a history of producing tornadoes along I-20 and caused some damage in Gordon:

Meanwhile models are all over the place here at 6 hours out. The HRRR has almost no rain even 🤣 🤣 🤣

Still not even sure this is a real event in the metro
