...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 600 PM CDT
FOR WESTERN HALL AND NORTHEASTERN BRISCOE COUNTIES...

At 518 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles south of
Brice, or 13 miles north of Turkey, moving southeast at 20 mph.

THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR TURKEY.

HAZARD...90 mph wind gusts and softball size hail.

SOURCE...Trained weather spotters measured 90 mph wind gusts south
of Brice at 509 PM CDT.

IMPACT...You are in a life-threatening situation. Flying debris may
be deadly to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes
will be heavily damaged or destroyed. Homes and businesses
will have substantial roof and window damage. Expect
extensive tree damage and power outages.

Locations impacted include...
Turkey, Caprock Canyon State Park, and Brice.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

This is an EXTREMELY DANGEROUS SITUATION with tornado like wind
speeds expected. Mobile homes and high profile vehicles are
especially susceptible to winds of this magnitude and may be
overturned. For your protection move to an interior room on the
lowest floor of a building. This storm has the potential to cause
serious injury and significant property damage.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

* Until 600 PM CDT.

* At 438 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 15 miles south of
Goodnight, or 18 miles southwest of Clarendon, moving southeast at
20 mph.

THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR CAPROCK CANYON STATE PARK.

HAZARD...Grapefruit size hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be severely injured.
Expect shattered windows, extensive damage to roofs,
siding, and vehicles.

* Locations impacted include...
Turkey, Caprock Canyon State Park, Quitaque, Valley Schools, and
Brice.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

This is a potentially deadly storm. Seek shelter in an interior room
on the lowest floor of a well-built structure. Abandon vehicles in
search of a more substantial permanent structure. Stay away from
windows.

This is a dangerous storm, capable of producing large hail driven by
severe winds! SEEK SHELTER NOW inside a sturdy structure and stay
away from windows! If you are caught outdoors, cover your head and
neck.

The winds are definitely legit down in Texas right now based off what I'm seeing from Copic/Stormrunner.

Looks hurricane like, and they're not even in the strongest part of the storm.
