Yep the line from Bragg down to the sc border then the second line from Goldston down to about southern pines mean business and could hook a tornado at any time

Storm down around Raeford has 98mph wind at 3200ft on the Raleigh radar
Tornado warning here for that cell just east of Lancaster. Just had a 41mph wind gust and the lights are flickering
Not seeing much in the way of a consolidated squall line. More broken segments and cellular activity.

I was watching -------- and he said that actually concerned him more, especially as it headed east
between Florence and Fayetteville is an area to watch over the next little while
STPs cranking up, best CAPE, temps and dews generally 65f+. SRH is at a bit of a min in that area and its still over 500
Yeah, I can certainly see that from a tornado threat perspective. But it's probably a good thing from an organized high wind event perspective. Line segments and occasional spin-ups should keep the damage more isolated than widespread.

Conditions in Goose Creek have deteriorated. This is out ahead of the main squall line. Very much like moderate to strong tropical storm like conditions.

Greenville -Spartanburg has crushed it's previous single day January rainfall record of 3.83, with 4.39" fallen, and more to come.
Just a couple hundred feet down the street from my house. This has never flooded in my 13 years living in this neighborhood… not even during Florence

Wind has really kicked up a notch the last hr, little lines forming out in front of main squall now a la hi res predictions, some runs put out a few longer track rotations with these lines.
