Rocking and rolling in PGV, lost power about 10 minutes ago, sounds like a tropical storm outside.

I-95 in Nash Co closed both directions, that's a traffic nightmare
135k without power in NC. Power flickered here once but not too bad at the moment, over 1k around the double R are out

Very weird how we get these intense 10 min periods of stronger winds then it backs way off for a bit then another round of big winds, almost gravity wavish...
Jesus, had a pine just come down over the back fence.. A 150 footer.. Missed My chicken coop though..
One of those fall, you cannot mistake it for anything else ..

I get lucky here we hardly ever lose power in the Simpson area, I saw several transformer flashes during that last round of the bigger winds out towards Grimesland/Black Jack though.

That wind is picking back up!
Firmly entrenched in the warm sector, temp was up to 68 before we lost power, pressure was down to 993, recorded a 10mb drop in 4 hours before lights out.

68/68 at PGV, winds picking back up we still a hr or so out from the main line as well....

Finished up with 3.82 inches..the most rain I've had i quite a long time and much needed as area ponds were about a foot down.
Pressure down to 992, max gust 30 and 36 reported at airport just a few miles away. But the roar in top of the trees is still ferocious
