I was below freezing here for 11 hours starting at 9 last night, even dropped to 29.1 before midnight. Then the usual fluctuations went on all night and I only dropped to 28.0F around 3am.

There used to be this dude on Lookout Mtn that always had crazy lows on Spanns blog. I think I have a very similar setup with my terrain.

I mostly agree; our climo is late December to late February. But, we can start hoping for a storm in early December. We've had some big ones in the first half of the month.

Weenie run in clown range on gfs. Energy in southwest is poised to become a winter storm for someone. No single threat can be sniffed out yet but this look is very very nice.

I'll take that look all day long and twice on Sunday..... That's how you get cold air all the way to the south east.
 
High was 38 degrees yesterday with a low this morning of 18. Dropped to 20 or below 3-4 times this week and that is extremely impressive for mid to late November. Also didn’t get out of the 30s for highs twice this week. As someone else mentioned I really don’t worry much about temps or setups until mid December when we have a much better chance at some wintery weather. Setting up Christmas lights yesterday and last night was a very cold experience. Didn’t have to worry about no spiders though since they all are hiding or dead ??

My window is more like December 22nd to February 25th. Looking for some good rain producers, for now.
