Seems pretty legit tbh. I've tried to not be too excited for fear of jinx but it's possible someone walks out of the weekend with 6-8 inches of rain

I'd gladly settle for any rain. We have had so little this summer, ground is as hard as steel. Those afternoon t-storms have been generous to some locales, but very sparse to non-existent for my area.

Man we ain't Dallas but I'm so sick of this heat. Haven't eaten anything but 4 grilled cheese in 2 days can't stay hydrated and it's 90+ 24 hours a day in the warehouse. Brutal.

Another round of heavy downpours on Sat as a cold front tries and fails to push through. Very moisture-rich airmass again, with PW's up to 2.25-2.5". An extra 1.5-2.5" of rain here before the month is over would bring my monthly total to 13-14"
