If Wilmington were invaded by the Russians would fight to the death regardless if the city was leveled? Unlike us, these people have a frame of reference of what its like to fight on their own soil and to live under the Soviet regime. They are fighting for their very existence.

There’s been some chatter how it looks like the Russians are holding back or not going all out as they haven’t committed all their troops yet, and a lot of the equipment used so far seems on the older side. Perhaps that changes tonight? We’ll see. Russia may also be trying to not use their most modern equipment if they don’t need it so they save it for engagements further down the line. ?‍♂️

It’s really hard to get an accurate sense of what’s going on. There’s so much information out there now, but so much of it conflicts or is just false.

Whether you're right or wrong is irrelevant as no current thread is supposed to have anything regarding politics (mainly Biden vs Trump or GOP vs Dems, etc.). Political "discussions" usually suck because they're extremely divisive.

Without specifying specific users, it seems as if any political posts appertaining President Biden in a negative light or matters of that sort are completely disregarded. Posts on the other side of the aisle implying any negative connotation to Donald Trump are instantly pounced upon and gain immediate notice. I'm about as apolitical as they come and truly despise most presidents, I was simply pointing out the hypocrisy that lies in this thread and board in general. That's simply it.

I don't care if you believe with all your heart that Biden is responsible for the war, and I could care less if you believe that former president Trump is to blame. One must wonder where the humanity has gone.

I kind of believe Downeastnc was right about the Ukraine army and all. It almost appears that Russia is trying to quickly get them to agree to terms and avoid a really bloody fight that Putin probably wants to avoid.

Maybe Russia does not have much modern state of the art equipment.
