Misc 2021-22 Fall/Winter Whamby Thread

Wait the UK is all snow?

Well hot diggity dog. I did not need to see that considering what happened last week.

Won't be watching the Euro tonight but I really hope that it stops the trend it's been on.

Ehhh .15 ice with 1 inch of sleet is pretty typical around here .. usually slows my posting down .. euro/UK combo would be welcomed

The UK Met solution just put me in a coma, that would verbatim be the second biggest snowfall on record for my general area.
 
I’m not always right. I get things wrong like everyone else. But I try my best to present both sides of the coins and have some truth to my forecasting madness. I try to be right for most (maybe not 100% of the backyards). Like with the past system the southern foothills did get buried but everyone else was in line with amounts.
 
What a nasty sloppy mess on the EURO. Just can't get a decent snowfall on the EURO with a good LP track for some reason. Hopefully, the GFS and UKMET will come through for my area and East.

Need the GFS and ukmet to hold firm and to see some blending of all the models so we end up with more sleet/snow than sleet/ZR. Euro destroys my area with ZR and even if we cut those projections by 50% im still looking .75 ZR.....yuck

Yeah I was just thinking about this. My screen time was like 11 hours each day on Friday-Saturday-Saturday just from models and reading this forum and Twitter. So I was like wow I need to chill, but then I remembered that this pattern will only last a few more weeks max. Gotta enjoy tracking it while we can!!
 
CAE have all but put amounts out at this point. Figures.
