Euro warm bias? That's at 2m. Euro holds too much energy back? Nope not that, I got nothing. Full disclosure I did think the euro was too weak with the 850mb front push south 70-84 hrs so we would have likely been more sn/ip initially. Not to mention our 925s for most of the event we're around -3-5c so the euro might have been a little too excited about zr being that far NW. But it's whamby so I came to ----- bc I'm not in the bullseye. Reminds me of a few of the long duration events in the 90s where it was snow then lots of sleet then freezing rain ending as snow but that's just off the euro verbatimHow do we screw this up ?
How is it ever going to snow here again if this look doesn’t do it. ?

Can we blend the UK and the Euro. Or are we at the bargaining stage.Euro warm bias? That's at 2m. Euro holds too much energy back? Nope not that, I got nothing. What?Yep. Atlanta will be on the outside looking in again. Congrats Carolinas and TN. Winter is over for the I-20 corridor.
No worries. Your area should do fine. I was referring to the immediate Atlanta area and points south. What?
Atlanta will get another dusting on the backside ?Yep. Atlanta will be on the outside looking in again. Congrats Carolinas and TN. Winter is over for the I-20 corridor.
It really is amazing how difficult it is to even get an inch in Atlanta. That's not asking for too much. Maybe one of these days Atlanta's relatively high elevation (1,000'+) will come in handy. Elevation seems to work in most other parts of the country.Atlanta will get another dusting on the backside ?
Most snow deprived city in the SE. worst history of big dogs and apparently takes 1000+ days to get an inchIt really is amazing how difficult it is to even get an inch in Atlanta. I think there's enough model inconsistency we can blend and it's not bargaining like it was with the weekend system. Can we blend the UK and the Euro. Or are we at the bargaining stage.
I agree, I think Euro was probably more sleet for us than freezing rain. That’s if it not yanked inland.
Atlantans should be used to backside dustings now . Ain’t lil nas from Atlanta ? Hmmm . Backside dusters .Atlanta will get another dusting on the backside ?
You mean like one of these ball games you play or you watch where your favorite team loses in OT but you say--"..hope we remember for a long time." Like that?Let’s take a step back and realize we are tracking multiple winter storm set ups in the heart of winter. Extreme amount of cold air available for each set up. Nothing marginal like that sun angle and boundary layer temp stuff to worry about .. truly a pattern I hope we all remember for a long time
Absolutely. Nearly 40 years without a 6" snow at the airport is just ridiculous. SD was like a month old the last time Atlanta got 6", if that puts things into perspective. You would think in almost 39 years that the airport would get lucky one time. March 1983 was the last time the airport got 6" from a single storm. Most snow deprived city in the SE. worst history of big dogs and apparently takes 1000+ days to get an inch
