Is it just me or is the fall foliage way behind schedule this year ?
Sharp cutoff in the rain. Maybe 1/2" in NW GA ?Looks like a good rain is coming up here again.

No. No. And no. Give me a cold holiday season followed by more cold until March with only a few warm ups to the low 60s at most. And everyone a snowstorm too.lets push for at least near 80... im looking forward to wearing shorts this years turkey day....
Thr climate is definitely changing. I no longer consider October a fall month and i dont consider December a winter month. Its getting to the point where we almost have one season, maybe two. Starting to feel more and more like Florida. The last BN Oct for Chattanooga was 2012.. I sure do miss when October was actually an Autumn month. We could actually see a 70 degree low coming up.. The warmest low for all of Sept '17 was 69.
I'm wondering if we're even going to have a below normal at all this month. At the rate we're going, we might not ever dip below 50 the entire month of OctoberThe last BN Oct for Chattanooga was 2012.. I sure do miss when October was actually an Autumn month. LolIt actually hit 49 here in early Sept and not sure it will get below 50 in Oct !
Been below 50 about 3 or 4 times since September here. I am sure we will be below 40 before the end of the month at least once.It actually hit 49 here in early Sept and not sure it will get below 50 in Oct !
It's still showing a nice cool down the following week (Oct 15-20) time frame. If that one busts as well, then I give upJust looked at the models only to see that our cold front is no where to be found next week. Last week it was showing it coming on Monday which then got pushed back to Tuesday. And yesterday it got pushed to Wednesday. I swear if this winter looks anything like last year I’m going to lose it. Oh well I guess we still have plenty of time as it’s still early fall.
it's looking bleak, bloody bleak, my friend.. Summertime in October! blech....Say something, I'm giving up on you
I thought perhaps that last fall was a fluke, but it's happening again this year. UGH!!!it's looking bleak, bloody bleak, my friend.. Summertime in October! blech....
Also should add, at least here in CHA, we've had AN Winter snowfall in this decade versus last...for the period of 2000-2010, CHA had 5 out of ten Octobers with BN temps... This decade is so far, only has 2.. 2011, 2012. Will look at other decades later. Would be interesting to do a multi-decade analysis of October mean temps versus Enso, pdo, qbo, nao states as well.
You sure that was TN? It looks like KY.Decent supercell in Tn

Idk could have been just took a quick glance when I was watching footballYou sure that was TN? It looks like KY.
Only reason I knew is because it looked like the county I'm from in KY, which is actually bordered by TN on 2 sides. My sister, who lives there, verified they had a warning last night.Idk could have been just took a quick glance when I was watching football
