I’m in the heaviest precip in Virginia. This will be very beneficial to the changeover. Sleet pellets mixed in now

Just did a 15 minute walk in the blizzard. It’s nasty lol
It is something about east Atlanta and power. I use to work in that area a slight wind would knock out the power.

There’s too many trees and the city won’t let you cut them down. Anytime someone farts, the power goes out here.

This is insane precip for a snowstorm. Gonna make the changeover quicker here?
??? its true though....no cap! I use to hate working at the CVS Pharmacy at Emory. Flooding and power outages was the norm. Anyway, back to the snow watch!

Think the heaviest stuff has moved through here. that was fun! Vehicles and roofs have a dusting on them. Still have one more solid band that will probably come through in 20 min and then im off to sleep. 730 will be here way too soon

A 40 mph blowing sleet and snow at you while your wearing shorts and a jacket hurts like hell in case you were wondering.
That was very fun. Was ripping fatties for about 30 minutes and I caught it just in time to get some pics and videos. Temps down to 34 now but still mostly rain and sleetThink the heaviest stuff has moved through here. that was fun! Vehicles and roofs have a dusting on them. I got to between Ball Ground and Jasper on 515 and the wind combined with snow on the highway made it really bad, I may take a non divided highway just so I have more Places to turn around if needed be. Currently at a gas station in Ball Ground, temp 32 just light precip

Flakes is all this one seemed to be, going back to rain snow mix now.
I got a dusting on the deck of sleet snd snow, temps and precip moving out kept it from being anything more than .25” of slush.

My mioisture transport?I appreciate itWhat an incredible storm system. Winds have been gusting over 50 mph the last hour. Lots of lightning. 5-7” inch rain rates with this band.

The band near Carrollton fizzled to nothing, so that’s a wrap. Fun little snow, reminded me of the snow we got Novermber 2020 minus the wind.
Don’t know if this matters but the hrrr is initializing with temps at 59 here, but in reality it’s already down to 52 degrees

Models did a really good job here depicting the rain/snow line. Just don’t pay them any attention as far as amounts.

Tree just fell somewhere in the backyard. Close enough to shake the house when it luckily hit the ground. I’ll have to see how close when the sun comes up. Hopefully it’s the only one, wind is really howling still.
Really strong wind gusts coming out the NE, can hear a roar at times

Nothing like being in the dying fringes of the comma head. You can see all that isn’t and all that could have been. Ah well - such is the nature of this obsession. ?
