Heavy returns showing up just west of Atlanta proper with temps crashing into the 30s. While the city should already start seeing mixed precip under the heavier returns with this band, I am watching another heavy band developing near carrolton. It should pivot into the city within the next hour.

This wind is insane I’m Cobb County. Whole house shakes when a gust hits. Snow starting to mix in.

Sleet mixing in now and 39. Just heard a large branch or small tree crack. Moving to the east side of the house.

If it was all snow rn and not 50/50 it would be the hardest snow I've ever seen. Pouring ran with flakes mixed in.

I'ven been staying at about 75/25 snow for 10 minutes now. Hope it can fully change soon.
about 1/4" of slushy accumulation - radar starting to fade so may not get much more here
