It's a possible bad scene for SW GA and int C AL, but the Big Bend is probably a stretch -- this west shift has to stop at some point...

Irma has defied all logic already, so let's just keep adding stuff to the confusion too. She will go wherever she ends up going. :confused:
 
Some EPS members definitely had Irma spending appreciable time further into Cuba. Which is best case scenario.
 
Cuba - would truly be an answer to prayers if Irma got chewed up and fell apart ... however, and this would be the sad, inevitable result: 6 million people won't listen the next time if something really bad doesn't happen this go-around ... o_O

i know right. don't see any known weather variable having much effect on this storm. They'll keep changing the track west. She hits those warm gulf waters after skirting by Cuba and the keys and she may make Harvey look like an amateur. I hope that don't happen obviously but I've been following this thing and I've not had a good feeling about it since she was off the African coast.
 
00z NAM so far further West and Slower. Looks like it's going to make landfall around SW FL somewhere.
