Hopefully this G-IV mission can get some better details on what's going on with this wacked out ridge. Been some pretty consistent divergent flow over SW FL around Naples, Pt. Charlotte in WV the last 24 hrs. Might be some clues as to where the extent of the ridge is. NOT SAYING THATS WHERE ITS GOING!

I would assume this thing will come up right in the middle of Florida from the South.. and East corrections will commence.. but that EPS run with many members in Cuba is interesting.

Its not nice to say that about a lady.

Agree about the EPS into Cuba but right now it is still gaining latitude and maybe it's a wobble but it might just miss Cuba...

My aunt drove here from West Palm on Wednesday and it was already bad with gas running out. Can't imagine if someone waited last minute. Do they have a plan to help stranded motorists?
They had a number to call if you had no gas and needed help in mandatory evac area

Be glad when she leaves, tired of hearing the word "WEST".

I think irma is going to have a hard time making landfall in Cuba with the angle in which it is coming because of land frictionin despite some of the latest data suggesting landfall. Also, the latest NW wobble decreases the chances of landfall.

When does the 18z gfs start rolling

18Z Nam does bring irma into central Ga, bringing nasty weather to Al.

Heck, if they keep shifting that cone west, PCB could come into play. Who knows what this thing will actually do. Typical female....
I'm starting to wonder my self if it's going to keep trending west until it ends up going to Mobile/Pensacola.
