Early maps suggest the 12Z Good Doc will end up colder, consistent with 12Z model consensus like the UK!
TPV a little further SE already so far....Heights a little higher along the coast and the southern energy a bit south.

This thing has Feb 1994 written all over it. A very serious situation for northern Miss, much of Tenn, and maybe into parts of AL. The cad areas of NC and SC could also have issues as well.

Am I reading this correctly to infer the thrust of HP (Arctic air) is clearly oriented straight for SE (GA) vs mor straight drop into Tx???
This is trending colder.

EURO keeps frozen North and West of Memphis again this run. Close but not close enough.
Oof were trending towards a ice event for CAD regions

looks about the same your way for euro from 00z, much colder east of the apps this run
agreed.
Good news is that the 2nd piece has slowed down over the baja area, the TPV is west of last run for sure, but on the move now. Baja piece is as well from the 00z run
Notice the TPV itself...more UKIE like and not "stretched" (not yet anyway) like the GFS

I like this look a bit better....look how "non stretched" TPV is vs this run so far and the energy over baja is kicking east as well.

This could be pretty interesting 
The cold is delayed a bit into the Mississippi Valey, but this sure looks like it fixing to bring the goods shortly.

Getting close to a miller B/CAD look here as well, if that TPV can slide East then yes 
If anything we’re about to see some monster CAD .. that’s one phat ass high pressure .. nothings moving that bad boy out of the way anytime soon

Might not work this run, but the precip is pooled further north in the GOM vs the 00z. This H5 looks has to be almost a 10/10 for a look right now. Speed that energy up just a tad and keep the TPV in tact like this...I think that could bring an amazing event across the SE.

SER is flexing this run of the euro! I wish we could get a consistent cold signal this WONT cut it .......
