Same here in Chastain Park area. Flakes, when they come, are definitely getting bigger. Can’t wait for those heavy returns to our SE to get here and see what happens. MPing reports of snow in Mt Zion south of I-20 in that heavy precip. ?

I’m thinking of driving the family up Burnt Mountain after church in the morning If it sticks around. They haven’t gotten to play in snow in over a year.

Its been straight snow for a good 20 minutes now, nice size flakes, to bad its only 36.4F or it would have the ground covered already. As it is its trying to accumilate on elevated surfaces.

36.3. This stuff is absolutely rate-driven. I need a heavier return to do the dirty work. Looking west of me at a ridge in the distance, I see the snow but a few hundred feet is killing me!
