Congrats man.
Nice. I had some measurements around 6” but I’m no professional spotter. The snow got noticeably thicker the further we drove north towards Maggie valley4.5 inches here in cashiers NC at the mtn house (3950ft).. fell in my forecasted range for this area 3-6inches
Well I just made back to liberty sc from Maggie valley it was a very good storm up in that area I wish I could had been at home in liberty as well it was a good storm here as well

The year of the flizzards continues in White House. Such a strange winter seeing snow fall so often but not a lot to show for it.

On a side note I use to have such beautiful green grass in the backyard. I guess 2 Rottweilers over 120 pounds is good for it.
It is hard to find for some reason, but very prettyMuhly grass. I'd have that stuff everywhere if it was more accessable
Mooresville got a heck of a lot more than 0.1.
I’m jealousFinally got power back. Took these around 2pm.

I know the liberty area saw about 2.5 to 3 inches and that map is not even showing that amount of snow hereView attachment 72596
Here's the map from GSP. I-85 cutoff very noticeable. Looks like Hendersonville/Saluda was the sweet spot. Looks like they may be a tad low for some of the upstate areas.
That map is not accurate. I ended up with 2.5 inches and the map is showing 1.5. Looks like it is on the low side everywhere.View attachment 72596

Yeah looks like they used a lot of CoCoRaHS observations in their map which are biased low due to the rapid melting of this snow and the fact that most of it fell during the overnight when most people were asleep >>> unlikely to catch the max snow depth. For this storm, I use ground truth reports from this forum and Americanwx first plus social media, followed by NWS LSRs, & then CoCoRaHS to fill in any gaps I am potentially missing. That map is not accurate.
