Wintry February 6th-7th

For those around KCAE who were holding onto some form of hope, the SREF plumes have absolutely 0 members showing anything but rain. The mean of the members is 0.73 inches of rain, in fact.

I just wanted to put it out there because I know how snow starved they feel around here. The local guys were mentioning flakes mixed in yesterday, and I didn't want anyone to get too excited. We usually have a rogue member or two of the SREF with snow if it was a possibility at all, lol.

I am optimistic for the upstate and far Northern Midlands to see a little something, though.

I hear ya. Spent 45 years of my life down there. Just does not snow much down there. Takes a near perfect scenario of e everything coming together just right.
